Video Call with Females: Free to Start, Face to Face

One person, one camera, one conversation at a time. Matching on WHO App Live is random and free to start, a gender filter is an optional paid extra, and Block and Report stay on screen during every call.

Female Video Call on WHO: Random First, Filter Optional

WHO App Live matches at random by default. You press start, allow your camera and meet whoever the next match turns out to be, a woman or a man, and nothing on the way in asks you to choose. Random calls cost nothing and need no account, and Next takes you to someone new whenever a conversation has run its course.

Two routes

Who you meet, and what it costs

Random match

Free and open without an account. The next person could be anyone.

Gender filter

Optional and paid. Registering gives you a free start on it.

No promise

Filtering is limited, so neither route can say who appears next.

Gender filter details from VideoChatRank's audit of WHO App Live, tested 7 September 2026, read on 13 October 2026.

If you would rather have a video chat with females in particular, the extra to know about is a gender filter. It runs on coins, and registering adds a free balance that unlocks it before it becomes chargeable. VideoChatRank tested WHO in September 2026 and called its gender filtering limited, so treat the filter as a preference you set, never as a promise about the next face.

Leaving the filter off is the default way to use WHO, and our random video chat page shows how those unplanned matches tend to play out.

Video Chat with Women: Making the First Minute Count

The woman on the other screen pressed start for her own reasons. Maybe she is practising a language, maybe she wants company for an evening, maybe she is curious who is out there. She can tap Next as quickly as you can, so the first minute decides more than any profile ever could. Treat it as an introduction, not an audition, and let the conversation earn its second minute.

First minute

Four habits that keep a call going

Say hello first

A greeting and your first name beat any clever opening line.

Keep the frame honest

Face and shoulders, eye level, a light in front of you.

Talk about the talk

Compliment what she says and thinks, not how she looks.

Take a Next gracefully

A short call is not a rejection worth chasing. Press start again.

Editorial advice on how video calls tend to go, not WHO rules. The rules WHO enforces are in its Terms of Use.

Ask before you assume and listen more than you pitch. Questions about where she is calling from or what she does on a slow Sunday open far more doors than a rehearsed line. If she moves on, let her: Next works both ways, a skipped call owes nobody an explanation, and the next person is one press away.

Every call on WHO is a 1v1 video call with no audience, so there is nobody to perform for except the person in front of you.

Video Call with Women: Rules Both Sides Can Rely On

Good manners are your part; WHO's rules cover the rest, and they protect the woman on the other screen as much as they protect you. Everyone confirms their age before a first video chat. Automated filters check every call and flag what they can catch, and harassment, or abuse aimed at who a person is, ends in a permanent suspension.

Never allowed

Lines nobody on WHO gets to cross

Harassment

Of anyone, on any call. It ends in a permanent suspension.

Abuse aimed at identity

Targeting someone for who they are is a permanent suspension too.

Threats and hate

Hateful, threatening or abusive content is ruled out by the Terms of Use.

From WHO App Live's homepage, read on 13 October 2026, and its Terms of Use, read on 9 October 2026.

Two controls stay within reach for the whole call. Block ends it at once, and that person is never matched with you again. Report ends it as well and hands the session to WHO's moderation team, who look at each report and choose the outcome.

If you are a woman using WHO, these tools are yours in exactly the same way. A call that turns uncomfortable can be over in one tap, long before you have to decide whether it deserved a report.

Female Video Chat Privacy: What the Other Side Sees

Your match sees your camera and whatever you choose to say. Your location and your contact details are not shown to them. WHO does not record video calls, so there is no replay of a conversation on its side, although its privacy policy lists what it may store, such as the details you give when you register and data about your matches.

Three things to keep off camera

Out of shot

Your address

Or anything that shows it, like a parcel label on the desk.

Your workplace

Logos, badges and uniforms give more away than you think.

Your accounts

Handles and numbers can wait until you actually trust someone.

Based on WHO App Live's homepage, read on 13 October 2026, and its privacy policy, read on 9 October 2026.

The other screen is the part nobody controls. WHO's privacy policy says other users can capture a photo during a call, so assume that anything visible on camera could be kept. Leave out what you would not want saved, and offer your match the same courtesy: a screenshot taken without asking ends trust faster than any Next.

Start a Video Call with Females in a Browser or on Android

You need a camera and a current browser, whether that is on your phone or your laptop; there is no download before the first call. Press start, allow the camera, and the call opens. On an iPhone, open WHO in Safari and add it to your home screen, because there is no App Store app. On Android you can also install the WHO App Live app from Google Play.

What is free, and what is paid

Random video calls are free, and the free route is permanent rather than a trial. No card is requested on the way in, and you can keep talking without ever paying. The gender filter and the other extras are the paid part, every one of them optional, and a good conversation needs none of them.

For a closer look at what costs nothing, our free video call page walks through the free route one step at a time.

Video Call with Females: Questions Before You Start

Can I make sure every match on WHO is a woman?

No setting can promise that. With the filter off, matches are random. With the gender filter on, you set a preference, but filtering on WHO is limited, so expect calls to go either way and decide quickly whether to stay.

Do I need to register to use the gender filter?

Yes, in practice. According to VideoChatRank's audit, registering adds the free starting balance that unlocks it. Random calls work differently and start without one.

Does it cost anything to talk to women on WHO?

Talking to anyone at random is free, and it does not stop after a trial. Money only comes into it if you choose a paid extra, such as the gender filter once its free starting balance is spent.

Is WHO App Live a dating app?

No. WHO is a random video call service: you press start and talk to whoever comes next. Anything that grows out of a call is up to the two people in it, and neither owes the other more than the conversation.

What if a woman ends the call straight away?

Press start again and do not take it personally. A quick exit often has more to do with timing, a dark picture or a bad connection than with you. Fix what you can, such as the light or the camera angle, and try the next call.

I am a woman. Can a match work out where I live?

Not from WHO itself, which never shows your location. What gives places away is usually in the frame: a window view, a uniform, a letter. Check the background before you press start, and end the call if someone keeps asking.

Can I report someone without an account?

Yes. VideoChatRank's audit confirmed that reports can be filed without an account, so nobody has to sign up before flagging a call. A report ends the call on the spot and passes the session to WHO's moderation team.
